Quinton Hennigh, Technical Advisor at Lion One Metals (TSX.V:LIO – OTCQB:LOMLF – ASK:LLO) joins me to recap the April 3rd news release announcing the start of high-grade gold mining at the Tuvatu Gold Project, in Fiji. This initial mining is focused at near-surface, high-grade gold bearing mineralization from a recently discovered mineralized lode. This lode was discovered just last year.
I kick off the interview by having Quinton explain the mining strategy of starting small by using the underground infrastructure to confirm and validate the Company’s drill results. Quinton refers to Table 1 and 2 in the news release to compare the results from underground sampling and initial mining to the drill results. I also have Quinton provide a general timeline for ramping up mining at the Project.
